My ethnicity is Mexican, and because I grew up only consuming authentic hispanic food, I am a very very big fan of Mexican cuisine. Below are a few dishes that I hold very near and dear to my heart. <3
Tacos can be enjoyed many ways. You can find them at numerous restaurants. The best ones however, are found at hispanic restaurants or they are either home-made. A taco is a traditional Mexican dish consisting of a small hand-sized corn or flour tortilla topped with a filling. The tortilla is then folded around the filling and eaten by hand. A taco can be made with a variety of fillings, including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, vegetables, and cheese. They are garnished with various condiments, such as salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and vegetables, such as lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and chiles.

My recipe for Tacos!:
Tortas are typically made using one of several Mexican breads. A Torta could be made using bolillo roll. This bread has a crispy, flavorful crust and a soft, chewy crumb. Tortas come in all sorts of varieties! Some of the most common tortas have meats prepared similarly to taco fillings like chicken, steak, carnitas, and even ham. My favorite however, is a torta made with carne de asada, better known as steak. Similiar to tacos, they can also be enjoyed with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, onions, beans and several other yummy ingredients.
